Mirwais

Mirwais Ahmadzai is a French musician born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Formerly the frontman of the post-punk band Taxi Girl, he is best known for his influential work as a record producer. Mirwais crafts a hybrid style that seamlessly fuses indie rock, glam, and techno elements, characterized by analog synthesizers and heavy guitar loops. He gained international acclaim for producing the albums *Ray of Light* and *Music* for Madonna, revitalizing her sound with a more electronic and experimental aesthetic. His contributions to late-1990s alternative dance music have left a lasting global impact on the genre.
